Geoffrey began his career in theatre marketing. He was General Manager of the Contact Theatre , Manchester; Administrator of The Crucible Theatre, Sheffield and supervised the restoration of the Lyceum Theatre and the establishment of Sheffield Theatres. After a period at Granada Television he became the Director of Finance and Administration at Welsh National Opera. There followed 3 years of freelance projects and he took up the position of Chief Executive of The Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham in February. He has been a Council member for 9 years and is currently Chair of the Finance Committee.
