John has been a theatre and concert hall manager since 1986, starting at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall. Since then he has managed Wolverhamptons Grand Theatre, the Anvil Concert Hall in Basingstoke, the Alhambra Theatre and St. Georges Concert Hall in Bradford, and am currently Theatre Director of the Grand Opera House in Belfast. Whilst in Bradford he founded Twisting Yarn Theatre company which specialises in multi cultural and multi lingual educational theatre. For four years he was Chair of the Board of Audiences Yorkshire. John is a member of the Board of the Northern Ireland Theatre Association, and a member of the Advisory Panel of the Performing Arts Creative and Cultural Sector Skills Council.
