Kate Horton

Kate Horton is the Commercial Director of the RSC, where she was previously Director of Marketing and joined the Company in 1998. Kate is a member of the RSCs Senior Management team with responsibility for maximising earned income, including box office, retail, catering and publishing revenue streams. She has a particular interest in CRM and audience development and is leading a major CRM project for the RSC with their partners, Accenture.Prior to joining the RSC

Kate Horton was Director of Marketing at Warwick Arts Centre and previously held the same position at Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Before working in the arts Kate worked in advertising directing accounts for national and international business to business and retail clients.

Kate is a member of the TMA Marketing and Enterprise Committee and was, until 2005, the Chair of the Marketing Advisory Group.  Kate has wide knowledge and expertise in the areas of marketing and audience development, including the commercial applications of information technology.  Her business experience has made an important contribution to the work of the Council of Management, ensuring that the extensive and complex area of marketing as a critical part of arts management has always been represented at the centre of the TMAs business activities.
