TMA/BECTU Code of Conduct for Get-Ins, Fit-Ups and Get-Outs
A Joint Working Party of representatives from the TMA and BECTU has developed a Code of Conduct for Get-Ins, Fit-Ups and Get-Outs. The Code is intended to set minimum standards to ensure safety and, where appropriate, suggest best practice to be adopted wherever practicable. The TMA/BECTU Code of Conduct was formally adopted by the TMA at the General Meeting on 20th May, 2010. The Code is now appended to the TMA/BECTU Agreement. The TMA/BECTU Code Conduct, Get in/Get out Health and Safety Check Sheet, sample Truck Loading Plans and TSC Accidents and Near Misses reporting form are available to download here.
If you have any queries regarding the Code of Conduct please contact Kathleen Hamilton, Principal Officer kathleen@solttma.co.uk or Lucinda Harvey, the TMA Employment Relations Officer, lucinda@solttma.co.uk
