Please note: The following per diem information applies only to those people employed on a TMA/Equity contract.
To calculate Per Diems (excluding the Republic of Ireland and the U.S. - see below), use the 10-hour 'B' rate from the Foreign and Commonwealth (FCO) website:

which sets a rate for most countries and major cities.
NB Members are advised to check rates before commencing a tour as they are changed quarterly and can fluctuate accordingly.

No accommodation and no meals: Full Irish Equity rate
Accommodation only: One-half of Full Irish Equity rate
Accommodation and breakfast: One-third of Full Irish Equity rate
The Full Irish Equity rate (July 2010):
63.03 Euros for companies who do not receive a subsidy
70.60 Euros for companies partially subsidised
86.15 Euros for companies fully subsidised
Per Diems for the U.S.
$73.50 - effective 1 January 2009. Applicable for anywhere in the U.S., regardless of what facilities are provided.
