Felix has been Artistic Director of NITRO (formerly Black Theatre Co-op) for nine years and before that a freelance playwright, composer and director. For NITRO he has written, composed, directed or produced many shows and festivals including Slamdunk, A NITRO at the Opera, Passports to the Promised Land, the annual NITRObeat festivals and currently High Heel Parrotfish. Away from NITRO I sit on the Stabilisation Panel at ACE, the BRIT Panel and in the past have been a member of both the Arts Council's Music and Touring Panels as well as numerous committees and ad hoc groups for ACE. He chairs many conferences and seminars for organisations ranging from Equity to ITC and have written numerous papers and articles for conferences and journals, particularly on issues of cultural diversity and the arts.
